Homesites are at amazingly low prices at this time and building prices are still remaining low with typical new home construction running from $125-$175 per foot. This is a great opportunity for people to buy homesites and build with equity for the future. In a lot of instances one can now purchase a homesite and build cheaper than they can by an existing older home. We have a number of floor plans and can work with you on a custom design to create the vacation home you have always wanted. We have homes that we can show you and our building and design system take the hassle out of building. Most of our homes are completed in 4-6 months. I have personally built/remodeled numerous homes in the South Fork, CO area.

It is very important to have a real estate agent with a background in construction when selecting a lot for your dream home. 

Why does this matter? Every lot is different and many factors need to be taken into account. 

-Example a lot that has a lot of slope will require a lot of excavation, thus costing more during the construction phase.

-Example a river lot that is lower in the flood plane will require more fill to build up the building site as well as a sand fill inside the stem wall to meet the International Building Code Standards

-Example a site that has a lot of rock may require expensive blasting for septics, stem walls, water lines, etc.
